Un drame dans une école de Tasmanie

Jeudi dernier, à Davenport, en Tasmanie, un château gonflable installé dans une école primaire pour la fête de fin d’année a été emporté par une rafale de vent. Cinq enfants sont décédés après une chute d’une hauteur de près de dix mètres et un sixième a succombé à ses blessures à l’hôpital. Ils étaient âgés de 11 et 12 ans.

Le drame a suscité une profonde émotion dans toute l’Australie. Un appel aux dons a récolté 1,2 million de dollars australiens pour les familles des victimes.

Le Premier ministre, Scott Morrison, a déploré un accident « bouleversant ». Une enquête a été ouverte.
